Timings are free for computers and accessories

In general, everything is fine with my RAM. It can be controlled with ASUS Aura Sync but not with the G.Skill app. I think this is an ASUS problem. Make sure these are the times you need. I switched from 3000 CL16 to this 3600 CL18. It looks like the CL16s were faster. According to Cenebench R20, the score even improved by 20 points. I suspect that if I get CL16 at 3600 it would bounce 40 pips or more. The thing is, the price of CL16 and CL18 is so close that I regret buying this RAM. No…

Very cool RGB RAM

I've never considered RGB for a build but I somehow persuaded myself to give it a try for my new setup and I have to say I love the programmable really like colors. My previous build had mostly red LEDs that dimmed over time and it's nice to be able to change the colors at will when I feel like it. I bought a 3600 ram because people recommended higher speed with R5-3600 but at boot time my ram was only running at 2133 and trying to even change it to 3200 causes the motherboard to crash in bios…

Slower RAM speeds than expected

I couldn't get speeds above 3200MHz even though my processor supports speeds up to 3600MHz. Anything over 3200MHz prevented my computer from booting into the BIOS, which was very strange and caused some troubleshooting issues. Mb is rog strix z390-I and cpu is i5-8600k 6 core 3.6ghz but can work up to 4.0ghz. Overall the RGB sticks look fantastic and maybe I did something wrong or misunderstood. You need to enable xmp and most likely you need to manually change the ram frequency as needed. I…

Great RAM set. Disappointing "white " brightness.

The only RAM brand I have used in my systems is G.Skill. Over the last year I've had an urge to spice up my rig with some proper RGB lighting. I knew this RAM kit would be popular and reliable, so I went with them. Typical of any RAM swap, it was quick and easy and everything worked right away. The RGB strips in this kit use a matte diffuser that distributes the light very evenly. However, what I can't avoid is the lack of brightness when set to a light color like white. All other RGB elements…

A good option for RAM on Memory

Some review questions are difficult to answer, easy installation? It's RAM, install it anyway. So if you think RAM is hard to install, this will follow suit. It's RAM anyway, you have to make sure you put the 2 sticks in the right DIMMs, usually taking turns making sure they click into place (and making sure you unlock the little tab before trying to insert them). It's good value for money and has cool glowing RGB to boot if that's what you're into. There are faster options and there are…
