Not what I expected from G.skill

Configure RAM with XMP (@4000MHz) but the system crashed while playing. I went into the BIOS and manually changed the speed settings to 3600MHz and no problems. A week later I increased the speed to 3800MHz and no problems. I recently changed the speed to 4000MHz and the system crashed. During this process I didn't change anything other than RAM speed and kept the latency at 18-22-22-42. I would suggest sticking with something else unless you want to spend money on something that doesn't live…

A great deal considering the Ram prices. Sure fast.

I am using an Intel 10850k, Aorus pro ax z490 and had no problems booting on the first try. Definitely happy with this purchase. I have upgraded from 32GB Patriot Viper to 3200MHz Stahl and will be buying another Trident Z Neo 4000 as soon as possible. It says right on the frame that Intel XMP is ready, so take the AMD-optimized one with a grain of salt, some of those reviews too. I'm sure some people haven't checked their qvl and even say these 4000mhz modules aren't in my qvl but they work…

Expected more from GSkill, never had a problem with it in the past. Bought two sets of these and each of the 4 sticks had different timings and IC configurations. Low quality Hynix matrix. Returned both sticks within the suggested time frame after repeated problems running at rated speed. Please note that my motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix B-550 XE with the latest BIOS. This RAM was listed as supported for my motherboard. Maybe I just have a bad batch. I'm aware that a certain percentage of…

Works great with standard XMP (5950x, B550 AORUS Master)

EDIT: currently works on 3800/16-16-20-22-38 (because I had to install trdcwr and trcdrd differently), compared to stock 4000 /18-22-22-42 and my Cinebench R20 and MEMbench scores improved. Saved 50 seconds in MEMbench (in DRAM Calc, Bench default settings) and increased my Cinebench score by another 700 points. I just bought it for my new system and it works great with the default XMP profile. Tomorrow I'll see if I can run it on 3866 CL16-16-16-32 (FCLK on 1933) but if not I'm fine with the…

RGB memory options for Intel and AMD. Don't believe the bad reviews!

First of all I want to say that this is a great set. Being at 18CL and 4000MHz is awesome! Some motherboards may not like this kit as it may not support 1.4V operation with XMP profile. The error on Intek seems to be 2666MHz. This is normal for DDR4 or any double data rate memory. You must enable XMP to get 4000MHz. If this memory is not in your QVL, it may not work. I happened to get a DOA stick, but I'm not deducting a star from the product for that. He can also be satisfied with top memory…
