Best Electronics Best in Computers & Accessories

Shipped from USA to Russia very quickly in just 12 days. There are many reviews that this SSD has extremely high speed, so I will say a few words about the design - the best on the market! I tried to choose between G-tech and Samsung but the design is much better so I bought G-tech. As an added bonus, high-quality USB-C/USB and USB-C/USB-C cables are included, so you don't have to buy an Apple USB-C/USB cable! A small saving, but still.

Works with iPadOS and battery power

This is one of several SSDs that work out of the box with your iPad or Mac without reformatting. Considering that my 2017 iPad Pro uses a Lightning connection, which cannot deliver power, I connected it to Apple's camera port using the included USB-3 to USB-C cable as shown. The drive then appeared in the iPad Files app. The transfer of various files and photos went very quickly. Newer iPads with USB-C ports can be connected directly to the drive using the included USB-C to USB-C cable. The…

Best portable drive I've ever had and I've bought a lot!

Incredible storage capacity! I've swapped out 7 Western Digital or Samsung external USB drives in the last 5 years, but this is my first SSD. This is by far the best external hard drive I've ever owned. Advantages: • Solid construction! Really well built. • Super fast! It outperformed the MacBook Pro's internal SSD in some tests • Lightweight and very small • Easy to install and use • Very responsive to utilities and use. Disadvantages • None. . . . I love this disc! To be honest, SSDs are…

  • Latest USB-C connection (USB 3.1 Gen 2)

WOW! My workflow has changed!

I'm a professional photographer and videographer and this works fantastic! I edit my work for 1/2 year and let me switch from laptop to desktop while working on the same work. Examples: I photograph a wedding and create an Adobe Lightroom library for it on the hard drive, then select my images from wherever I want, then connect the hard drive to my desktop, and then edit photos on my desktop with a bigger screen and a faster one Processor. The disk itself is very small and is 1/2 the size of my

Pros
  • Rugged design with IP67 water and dust resistance, 3M* drop test and 1000lb shock resistance
Cons
  • I really don't like it, it's ok

The new leader in affordable and portable SSDs. I've been doing a lot of video editing lately, mostly digitizing and restoring old VHS tapes. The files I generate usually start at 80GB, so while this purchase was a whim, it was more of a necessity. I also recently bought a Samsung T5 for the same purpose and it's as good as the lack of reviews on it. It's a bit smaller and lighter than the G-Drive, but I'd prefer the G-Drive to get the extra rugged qualities. In terms of speed, the G-Drive and…
