Large Shock

Helped a friend with his truck. worked great and we saw an immediate improvement in the handling of the truck, excellent value for money.

Where's the gear?

Ordered Gabriel Max front and rear shock absorbers for my truck. Front shock absorbers came with the equipment. The rear shock absorbers did not come. Indicated an installation problem. I'll just give you two stars. I'm willing to change my rating if you send me my gear. Otherwise the rating remains and the buyer beware.

Good long term impact on shock and vibration control

This is my review the durability. I installed them in 2012 and put about 93,000 miles on them - a one ton truck and none of them were light. They are now on life support and have been replaced by Bilstein 5100's. To start with the Gabriel shocks were good not outstanding and I think they were a good inexpensive upgrade to worn stock shocks. Looking back I think they were 'done' at least a year ago, especially the front ones, but they far exceeded the expected 50,000 miles. Only one of the four…
