The first thing I thought when I opened the packaging was that I liked the material. Although it was thin, it didn't feel cheap. The edge is long enough to part my whole face. Overall the hat is well made. I adjusted the cap to the right size very easily and it fits my head very securely. For years the sun has tempted me to ride my bike. Visors that fit helmets are usually useless to protect your eyes from the sun if there is any angle. Even conventional cycling caps with a narrow brim don't help at all in the morning or afternoon sun. I've tried regular baseball caps, but they were too bulky to fit comfortably under my helmet or make things uncomfortably tight. I thought with thinner material and nice long and wide brims this might be what I was looking for and it works. GREAT.
