I was very excited to see that this charger worked and powered up my GBA. The only thing that bothers me is that I have to wiggle it around like others do for the red light to come on, indicating it's charging. This can be an issue so I'm not sure how long this product will last but I think it was worth the purchase and by the way it was really quick delivery. Now I'm going to have some fun with my Game Boy and continue to appreciate these classic antiques.

I'm so thankful my old Gameboy works now! It didn't start loading right away. I had to unplug and plug it back in about 100 times before the loading light stayed on, but that's most likely because the Gameboy has been dead for at least a decade. If your Gameboy doesn't start charging right away, I recommend trying the unplug/replug method and/or buying a replacement battery (found cheaply here on Amazon). Once you have everything set up, this charger will do wonders!

Got this to replace my original GBA SP charger that has stopped working. It works when I plug it in sometimes. Sometimes the charge light won't light up and I have to take it out and plug it back into the Gameboy a few times for it to work. Most importantly, it doesn't fit the charging port, it's very tight and requires effort to plug and unplug, which is not very comfortable compared to the original Gameboy charger. So yes, it works, but definitely not perfect.

This product does exactly what I need. I wanted a replacement Nintendo GBA charger, specifically a USB charger so I could connect it to my external power bank. Arrived early, package at my doorstep in 2-3 days. I'm not sure because I left my apartment and found her on the doorstep. I bought it for an old battered GBA SP, didn't charge at first but after cleaning the battery/charge ports the gameboys work great. order) wrong product. It is exactly as advertised. The cable itself feels a little cheap, but that's compared to my modern smartphone charger. It arrived early and charges my SP. That's all I need for a 5 star rating.
