I used these to make 650 holes for ground cover plugs in 850 sq.ft. Because of these bits, I was able to complete the holes in a couple of hours. Total back saver! They drilled through some pretty rocky and clay like soil great.

We bought these to dig holes for umbrellas on the beach and they worked perfectly. Good solid steel nothing cheap about it

Using it solely to aerate compost bin contents. Going to add an extension to provide greater reach into bin. Could be difficult to handle for those with limited upper body strength.

I have used the smaller auger to break up the soil under my fifth wheel so I can install anchors, worked like a charm but the tip broke off. They did a good weld job on the screws, every once in awhile we use tools in an unorthodox manner 👍🏻😁.

Every Fall (before the first snowfall) I have to set up about 25 driveway markers and have to hand dig 25 holes to plant them in. This auger bit was awesome! It cut through rocky soil easily and it cut my time in half! Love it.

The hex part of the shaft sheared after about 20 holes. I moved the drill chuck onto the round shaft. It continued to work but the shaft tended to spin. I keep the chuck tight but it wore down the shaft.

These drill bits are a must, in my opinion, if you're trying to get a lot of bulbs in the ground. They make the job a lot easier.

I’m using this to plant egg-sized bulbs. Makes nice holes but avoid using immediately after a rain as too messy—wait a day or two. If you’re planting around a tree, know that the auger will struggle as much as if hand digging, so have a cutting tool ready to cut thru roots as they come up. This auger is perfect for making holes for planting bulbs, garden plants or annuals. It was also helpful in making holes for fence posts, along with a post hole digger. It was mainly purchased for small jobs but it did help with post holes.
