Nice piece. Looks great in my garden. I need to correct the movement when I wind up a little. We love him and gave him a name. The assembly was easy even without detailed instructions. Would buy again.

VERY LIKE (ACTUAL STAND CAN BE UPGRADED TO IMPROVE STRENGTH; BECAUSE THE WELDS ARE POOR, THE STAND WILL NOT DURABLE); ORDERED 1, THEN ANOTHER; ** BOTH HAVE THE SAME DEFECT; BUT I LOVE YOU. MANY GREETINGS! NOTICEABLE ACCENT ON THE GARDENS/PROPERTY.

I love this owl. It looks great, big wings flap in the wind and it rocks like it should. HOWEVER, the rods that balance the wings often get caught in the tail feathers, causing the wing to droop and not move. I don't seem to be able to resolve this issue and recently emailed Gardman with suggestions. 4 stars because I have to save the wing again and again.

Assembly, which was only supposed to take a few minutes, required extra work as the parts were not of good quality - we had to sand the parts to make them fit together. One of the wing mounts was pushed against the fuselage so far that the wing screw could not be installed and we ended up taking it to a professional metal worker for repair. I will say that the design is amazing and we are very satisfied now that we have put it together.

I LOVE this owl! It arrived very quickly and was easy to set up. The box was damaged but the contents were fine! It should look old and rusty so scratches really add to the old world charm ;) Since the first install we have moved it to a better place than my photo/video as it seems better with the wind blowing on it in front or rear, but not so good in crosswinds.
