I LOVE this owl! It arrived very quickly and was easy to set up. The box was damaged but the contents were fine! It should look old and rusty so scratches really add to the old world charm ;) Since the first install we have moved it to a better place than my photo/video as it seems better with the wind blowing on it in front or rear, but not so good in crosswinds. I sprayed the moving parts with oil and sprayed the whole thing with metal spray to prevent rusting. Pay special attention to the part where it rocks as I have seen some others rusted very badly there to the point of crumbling. We left the tools to remove the owl in a ziplock bag on the porch for quick removal in strong winds ;) It comes without instructions, only pictures and some parts have letters, but it's really easy, so don't worry. We got a few microbursts which caused the wing bars to get stuck in the tail, but after the tail was folded it worked great, we even added a solar spotlight to light it up at night! If you play with the crossbars you can get them not to rub against each other and spraying the oil will definitely help keep the metal from cracking. Just be patient and tweak it in whatever way is best for its placement. All the neighbors love it and say they can't stop looking at it, one even said he almost ran his tractor into a tree looking at it mowing! :PS I've seen them for a lot more money from other sellers and most of them have sold out so buy while you can, great talking point!
