Actually I couldn't decide between the Garmin Nuvi 255w or the 750 so I decided to buy both to compare. I pinned them both to the windshield of my car and gave them different addresses so they could find each other. I found that both models follow the same route, announcing upcoming turns and street names almost simultaneously. There are a lot of reviews so I'll just add my opinion. (1) I bought this based on a survey of GPS devices in Consumer Reports December 2008 issue. Customer reviews of Revain are valuable, but often wrong. (2) The 255W and 255W models appear identical, except for the 255W model's wider 4.4-inch screen (compared to the 255's 3.5-inch screen). The wider screen doesn't seem to improve navigation visibility, but it does provide more "finger room" for typing in addresses or performing searches. 255w
