Used as a replacement for an Omron chest strap

My Omron chest strap has been getting sluggish and is a good replacement. The bracket ends don't fit perfectly, but they work. Happy to get my Omron going again.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Frequency

Perfect replacement

Great replacement for my original which was starting to look like chewy bacon. I never noticed how stretched the old one was until I got this replacement. Should have bought it a few years ago!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Keep your monitor in good working order

They allow you to replace just the part of the chest strap that wears out over time without having to buy an expensive new Garmin strap. Thanks to them and new batteries, my belt has been working almost every day for years.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Good product for clips, armbands and bracelets

Replacement elastic strap for heart rate chest strap is exactly the same as the original. My original strap slowly stretched over more than a decade of use. I pair it with a Garmin 305 which I still use every other day.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Zero

Bought to replace an old strap I had for years

Works and pairs perfectly with the Garmin heart rate monitor. They will last a long time if you take care of them. I rinse the sweat off the band with hot running water after each use, then hang it up and let it dry.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Fits

After a few years, these ligaments lose their elasticity.

After a few years, these bands lose their elasticity, namely. it just gets gross from all that sweat no matter how many times you wash it off. The new band fits my HRM perfectly and no longer slips on my stomach when cycling.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Something is wrong

My old Garmin isn't dead yet.

Fits older Garmin chest straps. The elastic part is adjustable in size from small to extra large. Indistinguishable from the original strap that came with my bike computer. Great Price: I bought 3 for the price Garmin charged for one. I think the elastic can last longer with regular washing, so I plan to change it every 5 workouts (cycling).

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Approximately

Universal Fit: Wearable Technology

This strap is a good replacement for any monitor that uses a strap with these ends. I currently have a Proform heart rate monitor and my old strap has stretched. I bought this one hoping it would fit. It is and I can use it. Just so you all know you can use this strap universally as long as the ends match up exactly with your old strap.

Pros
  • Package Width 9cm
Cons
  • No Instructions

Good price for a Garmin heart rate monitor upgrade.

This is a strap. Cheaper than new HRM. I don't know what else to say about that - you know when you need it. It's also a good idea to have a spare strap in case the other one is still wet. The battery in the new Garmin straps lasts forever, and the plastic sensor is easy to clean and appears to be wear-resistant. However, the tape loses elasticity in places or creases. Replacement is quite easy, and the price for a new one is quite acceptable. (Garmin isn't usually known for cheap accessories…

Pros
  • Packing length 4 cm
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Why didn't my HRM strap stay in place?

After using my Garmin 305 for 4 years my HRM strap just wouldn't stay in place. He moved frequently and after a few minutes he was always on my stomach. I looked at the ribbon and it was curly like bacon and not that tasty. There is no elasticity! I ordered a new bracelet and my HRM is working again. It was very easy to fit the new strap and by comparing the new strap to the old it was clear I needed a replacement. And thanks to Garmin for separating the expensive HRM from the rubber strap…

Pros
  • Chest heart rate strap
Cons
  • Only available in white
