A great and inexpensive way to take care of your health.

I know you must have a fit-bit, but I wasn't sure I wanted to spend money on something I could just put on the table. The app you use with it works great and your data can also be synced to the internet for detailed analysis. It can also connect to many healthcare portals that companies use to give you a discount on your healthcare, which is what prompted me to get it. The thought that it was fixed scared me a little, because how can you fix something so small, but there were no problems with…

Great fitness tracker, short battery life

Great functionality with lots of information. I used this to replace the ifit model that required a subscription for the app's functionality to interact with the phone. The FREE Garmin Connect app, NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED, makes it easy to keep track of tons of information about your health, fitness levels, goals, and challenges, to name a few. I love this fitness tracker. If only there were no problems with the battery. When first bought it lasted five days on a charge, just passed the return

No way to fix a broken band

I've had this tracker for about a year. I liked it, but due to some questions I decided to write a review. First he started showing me walking up the stairs as I was just walking around the room. It wasn't such a big deal. My biggest problem is that the tape broke and there is no way to replace it. It seems so wasteful. I tried going to the Garmin website to see how much the repair would cost but that was no longer an option. Now I'm hesitant to buy Garmin fitness trackers that don't have…

For wearables I wouldn't use it

I've had a lot of Garmin fitness and running products and love them. This is a failure. First, the "big" band is small. I have small wrists and only needed 3 extra spots to tighten. If you have an average wrist size it may be small. So in my opinion the sizing description is wrong and I'm sending it back (and paying for the privilege of doing so). Functionally the VO2 Max doesn't come close to my Forerunner and for my age it was fine. too high. Anyway, skip this. I will probably return to my…

Amazing Deal on Wearable Technology

I need a heart rate monitor and steps for my fitness program, but I don't want to spend too much on it. This refurbished Garmin was EXACTLY what I needed and more! It even measures my sleep cycles and stress levels. It helped me feel more confident about this purchase that they offer a 3 year warranty for $3. My only concern is that it's hard for me to tell when the battery is getting low. Although, as far as I can tell, it has a pretty long battery life. It's just weird that they don't have a…

Vivosmart 3 Clumsy Features

The Vivosmart 3 is serviceable, has an attractive, minimalist design, and tracks basic stats as advertised. However, I'm rating them so low because, even at a relatively affordable price point (compared to other smartwatches; $40 at the time of purchase), they don't perform very well as a watch. The watchface isn't always included, which I knew and doubted when I bought it, but it's designed to illuminate the watchface by recognizing gestures. Or so it should be. It takes a few "lifts" or…
