Too thin and becomes translucent when torn

This product was not suitable for me. It is so thin that when it is torn it becomes transparent leaving almost nothing behind. Working with him is a nightmare. Luckily I rummaged around in my garage and found some good quality duct tape to finish the job. This product should not be on the market at all.

Pros
  • Made from 100% virgin PTFE
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good for stretching ears, super thin band

So I got it today and it's very thin and it doesn't stick to itself very well but I am sure he will do his job. I got it stretching my ears and I wrapped it around the cork and it was a little longer and definitely hard to rip off. So if you want to stretch it, you definitely need scissors.

Pros
  • Meets Mil Spec MIL-T-27730A or AA-58092
Cons
  • Some bugs

Wide 1/2 inch is best for adhesives, sealants and lubricants

This is a high quality Teflon tape. I use this for several items. However, I am a little disappointed as the tape is listed as 1/2" wide and the label on the box says 1/2" wide when it is almost 7/8" wide. This makes installation on smaller fittings more difficult. I had a reel that size and ordered 1/2 inch specifically for certain fittings. I ended up going to the hardware store to get the correct tape as it turns out some people around the world don't seem to know the difference between 1/2"

Pros
  • Economical low density thread sealing tape
Cons
  • Something different
