Description of Gates 22043 Upper Radiator Hose

Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure. Pre-shaped to fit and to ensure perfectly sealed conditions. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement; heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A (except for tolerances).

Top-Notch Hose for Your Automotive Needs!

This radiator hose is fantastic for anyone looking to replace a worn-out hose on their vehicle .It`s durable and easy to install making it a great option for any DIY mechanic. The hose IS flexible enough to work with any engine layout, and it's built to last so you won't have to worry about it failing anytime soon..

Fits well and firmly to the Dodge Ram 5.9L gas engine

Unlike the lower hose I also purchased, this upper hose fits my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.9L Gasoline very nicely. No trimming was required and it fit well enough to be used as is. It fit so snugly that it was difficult to twist or remove as I tried to fit perfectly to avoid twisting or twisting in any way. After a few months of use it seems to be holding up and I expect a few more months or maybe 10-15 years of service for these hoses! :)
