Description of Gates 24170 Coolant Hose

Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure. Pre-shaped to fit and to ensure perfectly sealed conditions. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement; heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A (except for tolerances).

Smooth and Durable Hose

As a result of using this hose I found that it was smooth and durable. It made installation much easier than other hoses I have used in the past, and I have confidence that it will withstand the test of time .The only downside IS that it is slightly more expensive than other hoses on the market, but the quality makes it worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this hose for anyone in need of a reliable and sturdy option..

Superior Quality Hose for Automotive Use

I purchased this hose for my car`s coolant system and was impressed by its durability and quality. As a result of using this product, I found that it PROVIDED excellent performance and was able to withstand high pressure and extreme heat. The material used in the construction of this hose proved to be better than many others I've used in the past .Overall, I recommend this product for anyone in need of a high-quality automotive hose. Ideal for spare parts

Perfect for my Pathfinder. Replaces the factory part without trimming. The walls of the hose appear thick and durable.
