The cap does its job, blocking access to the tank from theft. But this cap requires you to fumble with the key to unlock it. My newest cap is from another company, you only have to turn the key 1/4 turn to open it. This cap has a learning curve to use.

A tank without a cap is not a good idea. I bought this product to make sure no one can contaminate my fuel tank or steal fuel. With the cost of fuel and the ever-increasing likelihood of some scumbag being stolen, this product prevents theft/contamination.

I would definitely find an alternative to this product when I tried it for the first time the courage came out Fortunately I was at home and was able to remove the cap with a screwdriver so I could fill up my car when I was out of town. It would be a real hassle to make the injury worse. Revane let me send it back before I get credit to buy another, it's not a double whammy you know what!
