Faulty Decoupler Pulley Ruins Engin

This decoupler pulley had disastrous consequences for my car's engine. After installation, it started making a high-pitched whining sound and the engine began to seize up. I had to spend hundreds of dollars to repair the damage caused by this poorly-made product.

Unfortunately, like many other reviews, the end of the wrench split open.

Unfortunately, like many other reviews, the end of the wrench split in half before the pulley was loosened. I welded it again but it broke in the end. I think the rest of the tools should be useful, but I don't know. In the end I carefully cut off the pulley. Not fun, but cheaper than a new generator.

Essential - BUT

You can't change any of these ADPs without these special tools and they seemed well designed and well made. But a tool I needed for my Dodge minivan, a 10mm H10 extension, broke before the bolt was loose. It looks like the weakest of the various adapters because it needs to be short enough to hook onto the large hex on the pulley and small enough to fit in the recess. Also, it's only a 10mm nut.
