Nice kit with matching grille

This 24v fan is relatively quiet, and with a 100 ohm series resistor to boot, while still providing enough moving air to get the class D -Amp to cool grille and screws is a nice feature

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Can I add anything else

Works great, quiet and smooth.

Runs great, very quiet and vibration free. I use it with a fan speed control and it works fine at variable speeds, just what you need for a quiet fan. I recommend this product.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Update available

Amplifier QSC - Fan in the case

Purchased to drown out the qsc rmx 1450 that is in use in my home theater. It's easy to connect and reduces the noise level in my room from 54dB to 46dB. The low noise level is due to the lower fan speed. I kept the old fan in case I upgrade the amp again with subwoofers for live sound.

Pros
  • πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Worked great. Used in solar box

I used this fan in a solar box I made from a Keter deck box with insulating foam. Only 3 batteries in the outdoor pavilion. Keeps my components cool by dissipating heat from the battery compartment.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • The list is long.

There are better fans.

Bought because the specs said it was rated at almost 45cfm. It was meant to replace the Master cooler which I bought at half price and was rated at 30cfm. This fan does NOT move more air than the main cooler. I would have returned it but I had to cut the wires to securely connect it to the hardware that had the fan failure. On the positive side, this fan is very quiet. I don't need silence, I need a strong flow of air.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Available in white only

Great quiet fan for a noisy UPS

I bought some used APC SMX UPSs for a project. One that otherwise works great was produced in 2010. It was the only one of them all that couldn't be updated to the latest firmware, so I don't know if it's a faulty sensor, but both fans are spinning at one speed. Quite high speed all the time and really too loud to use even in the hard to reach place I found it. Bought a few fans first and didn't read the product description carefully enough (my bad one). The fans weren't rated to run 24 hours a

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Perfect mod for QSC GX5 amplifier

I have a QSC GX5 amplifier that I use for my home stereo. It has a standard fan that runs when the amp is on and its decibel level at its lowest speed is over 35 decibels. The standard fan could be heard from all over the room, which was very annoying when the music was not playing or the volume was low. I've heard of many people modifying the amp with a lower volume, lower speed fan to keep noise down. I ordered a GDSTime fan to make this modification. Its decibel levels are in the 20-20 range

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Useless features
