Nice amber glow on lights and ceiling fans

Pros: Nice, soothing amber light Beautiful gem design Lights up and requires very few resources as it's an LED Helps to find a wall and the exit Cons: Doesn't work I I do not enlighten! I bought these for my entryway because I prefer a warm amber glow and find most LED bulbs too bright. I wanted enough light to be able to see the ground (and not have toys in the way, etc.). I don't think my sockets are too high, but these lights just don't illuminate the floor. They do a great job of showing…

Wonderful soft night light

Just love them and what a great buy for 2 packs. Our bathroom has just enough soft light, barely enough to get us to our destination in the middle of the night without having to turn on the overhead light, which is exactly what we wanted - not too bright to wake up the brain or eyes hold true. I would give it 5 stars if it had a little button or switch to turn it off when plugged in - I take it out every morning to save power because the light gets a little hot at night. I couldn't take a…

Good if you need a very dim night light

It was very difficult to find a yellow LED suitable for night lighting. Most LED night lights are still made using a white daylight bulb, which is known to disrupt sleep with blue light. They replaced incandescent bulbs. This would be a good night light if you just need a marker or point of reference in a dark room; However, you can't find your way around even in the near total darkness of the room. They also give off noticeable heat from their base. Not hot but still inefficient in terms of…

Finally lights that don't blind us at night

We almost bought an updated version of these lights (for a lot of money) - a domed opaque plastic version. But we read too many comments that they are too bright for night lights. These cheaper bulbs look more stylish to us and offer the right compromise between just enough light to see at night and dim enough not to bother us. They are listed at 0.9W, less than other night lights but still much more than other LED bulbs (0.1W). And since they are "always on", we have to turn them off in the…

Not real diamond, scientifically proven

These things broke right away, which I found strange as diamond is usually pretty strong. After sending some shards to Quantico for analysis, speaking to several well-known geologists, buying a multi-million dollar spectrometer, and selecting blood diamonds to destroy, I could confirm with 54 percent confidence that they were indeed some kind of cheap Chinese plastic, held together by his packaging/hope and the dreams of the disenfranchised worker who blinded him. When I tried to send them back

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are problems

I bought both a pack of these GE Jewel LED night lights and a set of GE SleepLite LED night lights at the same time, um compare them and see what I liked the most. Compared to the GE SleepLite LED night light, the GE Jewel night light is larger in both diameter and profile. It's not as bright and has a more yellow hue than Sleeplite. Because these nightlights are LED-based, they don't use a lot of electricity, even when running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: the GE Jewel nightlight states on…
