I have a very old Kenmore sewing machine, over 35 years old and still in very good condition. When the light went out, I really didn't think I could find this item. Thank you Rewin! I always find what I'm looking for here. Many Thanks; I see again!

Ordered GE 35154-12 and received lower quality Satco lightbulb. lower brightness and shorter lifespan. Said it's in stock, web photo says it's there but it's out of stock. Good luck trying to get a lightbulb out of them or your time and money will be wasted on them. AMAZON should close this page.

Bought to replace a lightbulb for my wife's Singer sewing machine. It plugs in and lights up, but the bulb is about a quarter inch longer than the original so the door won't close now. If anyone knows of a similar lamp but a little shorter I'd love to hear about it.

I didn't want to use a 25 watt bulb due to overheating of the plastic lens/screen although my lens hadn't yellowed yet. Also assume (right or wrong) that less power can last longer. This T7 sized bulb perfectly replaced the 25 watt T8 bulb. Pay attention to the rating of the hours. This bulb says 3000 hours while the other Sylvania 18200 says 1000 hours (about 50 cents more than I got this one).

Needless to say I couldn't keep enough bulbs on hand so I decided to try the GE brand and so far, after about 3 weeks, they don't flicker and they still work. It's hard to find a bulb like this, so if all goes well I'll buy another one as a spare.

Works great on Mom's Kenmore sewing machine at half the price. I'm not complaining about the quality but you know it costs next to nothing to make and a two pack would be much more attractive. I can buy them cheaper at a hardware store than here on this site. I just had to send it to her and it would make more sense to send it to her directly.
