Disappointing Halogen Bulb

Based on my experience this bulb was a letdown. It's not as bright as advertised and the color temperature is too warm for my preference..

Stops working in less than 50 hours

Lamp stops working in less than 50 hours. The filament looks good up close, so it's not "burned out" in the traditional sense. The connection between the thread and the base must be broken. This is clearly a manufacturing defect.
