Helps you fall asleep

I was looking for a night light and came across this projection light. I love how it calms me down when I fall asleep. It would be very good for kids but I'm an adult and I love it. It is bluish light and requires 4 AA batteries. I've had it for about a month and haven't seen any battery life issues. It turns itself off after 30 minutes, so if I'm awake by then I'll press it again. Very inexpensive and high quality light. Ease of Use - Where you place the light affects how dim or bright it…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Out of style

Surprised how much I like it!

I thought it would be a cheap light, no frills, but I like it. It does exactly what I wanted. The timer works perfectly and the batteries haven't died yet and I've had it on every night since I bought it in December 2020. It projects a star field and a crescent moon onto the ceiling and around the room. The closer to the ceiling you place the light, the smaller the stars - they're huge when it's closer to the ground. I put it on my media cabinet and it's great. Great for kids, especially in…

Son loves but not safe for baby

My son loves but battery packs won't screw on. These are 4 separate covers that slide out very easily. One slot per battery. This makes it very annoying to tape off every dough compartment instead of just one. I sealed it with tape so he couldn't open it and choke on the battery. A compartment with a locking screw would make this thing great. My 1 year old son loves it and can easily turn it on and off. We had a week with no problems. Just the really lame 4 tiny, easy-to-open battery…

She doesn't sleep well so I figured this light would calm her down.

I was so excited to get this for my daughter. She doesn't sleep well so I figured this light would calm and relax her. When we received the light it didn't come in a traditional box. It was almost "wrapped" in cardboard, but I couldn't find any damage. We put in our new AA batteries, turned on the light and... nothing. Lightning. Trusting him, I opened another brand new battery pack. Still does not work. So I had to return this product but I asked for a new one. The new one arrived this morning

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

I love this my world!

Love this night light. Now I'm 6 and I love falling asleep at night with all my stars and moons. I'm 48, that's not for my child who has grown up and left home. I can't explain why, but it's very relaxing. They made this product even better, so now is a good time to buy it. The 2 fist I have just stay on all night unless you get up in the middle of the night to turn them off. The result is dead batteries. And who can afford to buy 4 AA for every block every other day? Not me! You fall asleep…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Cute, simple, convenient, no need to turn off!

I love this thing! I'm sure I could have found a fancier night light but this is a really good choice and not very expensive. You turn it on and it stays on for a decent amount of time (30 minutes?). It projects stars and a crescent moon onto the ceiling in a bluish light similar to the color of ultraviolet rays. It's very wonderful because it's a nice soft color, but it's soothing compared to the pitch black darkness in the room. This creates a very calming mood. I love that I can turn it on…

  • Impressive

Helps ease early mornings

Five stars because it fits exactly as advertised and suits my needs perfectly. This is for me (8 years with decades of practice). My criteria: Inexpensive; long game; Low Profile; Soft/weak light source; No tipping and falling exposed; Easy to turn on and off; Failsafe timer for energy/battery saving; No photo sensor/auto power on; Small footprint. Before I settled on this GE 17457 Twinkle Star Tap Light LED, I was looking for a bedside lamp that would give off a little soft light in the dark…
