💧 GE GXRM10RBL Reverse Osmosis Filtration System Review

GE RO machines are simple and durable. We had an older version of the same RO model in our kitchen for almost 10 years before the faucet started leaking from the inside. A completely new system costs a little more than a replacement faucet, so we got a completely new system. This one was a lot easier to install due to the way the faucet is attached - everything is done from above rather than trying to tighten the nut under the sink. I am very happy with this new system.

This is a great reverse filter that always works. Makes great water. It's easy to source parts from GE or use standard reverse osmosis filters. I have to use a booster pump in the country because my well doesn't give enough pressure. Aquatec 6800 Booster Pump Set No need for a booster pump around town. Installed for me and friends. I don't use an air gap faucet. It does not work well. If you have a garden, simply direct the waste water to the plants.

We bought this to replace an old system we installed a few years ago as it was essentially the same design and ours worked fine although the membranes are gone were available. I installed the GE system myself and found it not difficult but if you are new to plumbing check out the installation video including the drain line and supply line should be difficult to install, and changing the filter is quite difficult, especially if you don't lubricate the o-ring because it will cause water pollution. Pretty good system but GE only supplies a poppet valve instead of a traditional valve and you have to drill a hole in the water line which is outdated and risky. Buy yourself
