🚪 GE WD8X227 Dishwasher Right Side Door Deflector Review

Bought to stop a leak in my old dishwasher. Corner seals were also replaced. It's still flowing around the door. I had to replace the dishwasher.

Although I wanted to buy a new dishwasher or something, it was just a cracked door screen! It no longer leaks at the bottom of the door and it is not difficult to install.

Ok I like it (5 stars), a bit strange for a dishwasher part but fits and works just fine. no more river Easy installation. Just take the old part out and put the new one in. It was a lot more profitable than buying it at the parts store.

This small door seal is for the left side only so you will need a GE WD8X228 for the left side. It's cheap, so you can buy it, but you might not need it. Open the dishwasher and they are at the bottom where the bottom of the door meets the dishwasher. Check the condition and if they are worn, go get them.

Most importantly the picture of this part is a bit misleading but it really is the right hand side door bulkhead that matches the part number. The part fixed the dishwasher leak problem. , Revain was half the price of local units, so I bought the other side for preventative maintenance too: GE dishwasher WD8X228, door bulkhead in the left corner

The dishwasher is leaking so I replaced the gasket but the leak is still there. He pulled out the old side panels and one was completely mangled. So I ordered both side baffles and the sealing problem seems to have been solved. A bit expensive but very easy to replace old ones and a lot cheaper than a new dishwasher.
