These are really two separate items sold in one box. They are not made for each other and the instructions are wrong when putting them together. Luckily you have enough details to make it work but according to the instructions. Half price Pi box is 10x better. get something else

1) Lacquered copper on the pipes that come into contact with the chip limits heat transfer 2) The case does not work with the supplied spacers, so had to do without them until I found a better solution. 3) The card with instructions was difficult to see because the pictures were very small. I had to use Revain and images to understand what went where.

This is a really solid case where everything needs to be well protected. I had no problem with the body bolts being too tight like other experienced ones. The downside I found is that the SD card is not accessible because the case gap is too far from the board. For a special project this would be fine, but not for its use, you'll ever need to change the map. My current solution is an SD extension cable.

You must have had a monkey with a percussion gun twist this at the factory because more than half of the screws didn't come out with the screwdriver provided. Just undress. I ended up having to drill out most of the screws, which was an utter pain. For this reason I am giving this product a bad rating. Another reason this product gets a low rating is that my Pi had a short somewhere and wouldn't boot. It's completely ridiculous that this can even happen. Okay I got it working so that's it.

This case needs an update. The case was closed with very tight screws. I couldn't loosen one screw, it's good that the metal is very soft, and I was able to bend the case. I had to cut out the hole for the SD card and make it bigger so I could pull it out without unscrewing the whole case. Pi is held in a strange position inside.
