Do not use loops on slings and runners

Tried to use separate loops to lift something and it broke. Does not support body weight, use only to lift items less than 50 pounds.

Cons
  • unreliable

What is 9 inches? Who counts anyway?

They seem very well made and strong so I would trust them if they climb easily but they are not 53 inches tall. They may have been 53 years old before they sewed on the buttonholes, but they are now 44 inches tall, FYI.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Modern

Daisy Life! for rope, cord and webbing

I love it! I originally bought these for my new hammock but liked them so much that I bought another pair for my climbing gear and to carry my family's shoes up the rocks. I like that the hinges are on one side, which helps me organize my work on the wall better.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Reverse print

Perfect Green! for Slings & Runners

Goes perfectly with the green Kammok Roo! Seems very well made, not as pretty as python straps and definitely not that expensive. I won't be upset if the kids lose or ruin them. They seem very durable. I will be buying more of these for real camping/hiking in the future.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Gorgeous little daisy chain

Great for hanging camping gear or storing gear on a belt or harness. The loops are a little small, I don't think I could put my fist through them, let alone my foot. Maybe a finger or three. The good thing is that they are not designed for stairs. Some people might use them for clamping, but based on what I've read so far, you should probably go for daisy chains with a custom loop. In general, a very strong and reliable design.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • No gun

Quality product at a great price

I bought these to use as a personal anchor and to extend my descent for safety reasons when climbing. The end loops are long enough to clip onto a harness and the length is perfect for rock climbing. The rating of 23 kn is on the label and the quality looks good. The total length is 44 inches. I have attached some photos. I am very happy with this purchase. While they can definitely be used as hammock straps, I prefer the longer strap for this application. If you found this review helpful…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Out of fashion

A great tool to improve safety when climbing a tree.

In general, I've always been afraid to climb a tree. I bought two of these and was able to climb to the top of a 60 foot spruce tree to attach a sling and chop it down. The rope has several loops that allow you to attach the strap at different lengths. I've used two of these during the ascent and descent for added security while advancing the position, always attaching one or the other or both. Great purchase and great climbing aid that made my job possible. My wife now thinks I'm Spider-Man.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
