Hardly works. This only works when 3ds xl is closed and I know 3ds is not the problem because my other chargers work. Here are the conditions I found: with socket closed 3ds = charge light on and charge rate 0.19a. With outlet 3ds open = no charge indicator, no battery indicator on main screen and still 0.19a charge rate (where the heck do amps go when 3ds doesn't detect flow?) I love the N3DS USB charger. Got this for my 'new' 3DS as it didn't come with its own charger. And I didn't sell my original 3DS. No problem, plugs into a USB adapter/socket or directly into a PC.
