Big budget caliper

Is this the best caliper you can buy? No, far from it. But for a budget caliper it works great! Handles metric and inch both decimal and fractional values. The battery lasts long enough. I believe this one turns off automatically after a while. The plastic case is good if you're measuring something and are concerned that a carbide caliper might scratch it. Jaws not parallel, misaligned, waste of money

Fragile, sloppy, misaligned. anything else you need to know? Maybe my accident. But I doubt it. What a disappointment. It is better to take a standard metal digital caliper (inches and mm), print out the conversion table and hang it by your desk. The jaws are misaligned, which isn't the worst, but the surface of the jaws is not flat. (See images.) It's a great tool for what it is

Well after reading most of the reviews on this little caliper I was compelled to do it myself. This is a great tool for what it is. I researched the information and was more than happy when it came out. It's perfect for what I use it for. First, it's very light and compact, and I carry it in my protective pouch along with four other Go To tools: a scriber, center punch, 6-inch ruler, and retractable magnet.
