Best in class best additive manufacturing products

The best direct drive extruder yet. I have an early model with the Hermes name engraved, but I've had no problems and have printed about 10lbs of filament with it. When picked up it is amazing. Dressing with dirty paws is difficult at the moment, but hopefully production will resume soon. I haven't printed curves on it yet due to the current climate and lack of supply, but I don't expect any problems according to some people I've spoken to. With.

Simply Amazing Best in 3D Printers Extruders

I work in a production environment that uses flexible materials and even other direct drive extruders can't even keep up. I have them installed on 3 of my machines now and am in the process of updating the rest. I've had 0, yes 0 misfeeds or feeding issues and my prints come out better than expected. Thongs are a thing of the past. If you know your way around tpu, that alone is worth it. I can do 2/3 of a batch with my Titan Aero and then get a jam in it that requires me to actually disassemble

Over 1 year review - conclusion: not worth it

I've been so disappointed by this hot end for a long time. In general, this is an excellent system, but the disadvantages are too great. To sum it up in one sentence: it's overly finicky, unreliable and has disappointing support from E3D. Three of these stand out: 1) square nuts, which can easily break if over-tightened, which can completely destroy the motor housing, 2) the total lack of professionally designed covers and fasteners from E3D, and 3) the use of ridiculously flimsy thermal ones…
