🚽 Kohler K-GP1078441 Flapper for Two-Piece Toilets with Class Five Technology - 3-1/4 In - Red: Product Review, Specifications, and Compatibility Review

I don't know what kind of rubber they use on these things but they seem to start leaking after 3 years. I have an old Eljer toilet in one of my other bathrooms which is a simple ball valve that hasn't leaked in 10 years. Seriously folks, they need to make stronger rubber for these things that don't really fall apart after a few years. This is my third and the toilet is only about 8 years old.

Arrived quickly, installed easily and works great. It appears to be an original Kohler product. Would buy again. One thing I didn't know is that most Kohler toilets have a parts list taped to the underside of the gas cap. So all you have to do is flip the cover to find the correct part numbers. Great feature from Kohler's end; makes it easy to be sure you're ordering the right part.

Why doesn't Kohler provide a drawing with actual dimensions? and customers. I had to return but I did hate sending it back I went with the universal one from the HW shop, before you buy, try to find out the relationship between the damper and the hinges from the photo on the Internet

I bought it as a spare as I expected it to need replacing soon. Today (7-2-2018) I finally replaced it only to find out that it doesn't fit. According to the product description on the Revain, Kohler website and on the packaging, it should fit my Cimarron 4634. However, it's a bit big and doesn't close all the way. This valve is for an older Kohler Cimarron 1.6g toilet. The original valve for this model of toilet is 3.25". It is impossible to buy a cracker of this size in a regular hardware store. I know.
