Replaced this relay switch to prevent hot air blowing out of the Honda Odyssey air conditioner. Immediately after this, the compressor turns on and blows cold air. I'm glad I was able to find this OEM part at a reasonable price even though shipping took longer.

The battery in my 2008 Honda Accord V6 sedan was dying every morning so after searching the internet I found out that the A/C relay is giving a lot of people the same problem. Once I plugged it in, the battery stopped draining. Now I'll have to wait for the warmer months to see if the problem with the AC capacitor sometimes not turning on has been resolved.

My 2004 TL had problems with the AC - the fan was blowing air and maybe the AC would turn on after 10 minutes but it never worked stably. I bought this relay and everything went back to normal - nice cold air! I can't imagine how much a dealer or private mechanic would charge for diagnosis and repair compared to that $20 repair.

My 2011 Honda Pilot's air conditioning has stopped working. After searching the internet I found that a possible solution could be to replace this switch. It was an exact match and it only took me 1 minute to replace it. The air conditioning works great now. Not all air conditioning problems have been caused by the failure of this part, but I would certainly try it before taking the car to the shop.

I'm no car expert but I follow the instructions well. According to the internet the relay should be swapped between the two blue big relays - the bottom of the fuse box (see picture).
