🔧 Luminox Replacement 3000 3900 27: Authentic and Reliable Review

I replaced my original Luminox 3050/3950 strap with this one as the straps that go around the spring bars are the same size as the original strap. The new band is narrower than the original and stiffer, but will break over time. Installing the spring bars was tricky, but once I found the right length and diameter, the second spring snapped into place. Order spring bar tool and new spring bars.

A few years ago I wore out my strap that came with the watch and it was the perfect replacement strap. The watch was easy to put on, looks great and is very comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend this strap if you own a Luminox Seal watch.

I almost didn't buy this strap because of the bad reviews for attaching the watch to the strap. However . it took 30 seconds and no special tools. just my nails. On another note. I love how it fits and looks. I couldn't be happier.

Update 6 months later: All the good comments below still stand. band is solid. Would I buy again (but not necessarily because it's good gear). Excellent watch strap. Note that this isn't a 27mm tape, as Revain points out; It's actually 23mm at the mounting points. Do yourself a favor and purchase two new stainless steel pins before installing this band (none included). Super comfortable and looks very high quality!

This is a great replacement for the original rubber strap which for some reason is junk. (I've had two breakouts with light use - only dived with it a few times.) If you're in the same boat, just make sure you save the pins and sling holders from your original sling to use with this one. The installation took me 5 minutes. Product arrived as described and very quickly. The installation guide on the box wasn't clear and didn't really describe the installation. After trial and error and lots of patience with small bandsaw sticks (not included or used in my previous bandsaw ring) I finally had success. I am very satisfied with the comfort, the look and the design. It really gives a new look to this great watch brand.
