I have previously ordered a cheaper fake and it was a waste of ten bucks. Save time and money by buying it at all. Works perfectly.

I first bought the fake for $8 it didn't work it also had a nick on the end which I didn't notice until I tried to remove it wasn't easy. This device cost $50, but it's worth buying a genuine Toyota part that's easy to remove, just like the old '98 one.

Fits perfectly! If I had known I could replace this switch in about 15 seconds I would have bought it many years ago. Just grab the edge of the old switch with pliers and it will pop out of the socket hidden there. This is then simply plugged into the desired position. This derailleur was a little more expensive than some of the others I've seen at Revain, but it's the perfect factory replacement. Worth the extra and still cheaper than what my local dealer offered me.
