Recommended by my Sassoon trained hairstylist and she loves the style. Remarkably fast heating. I wish it had adjustable heat, but it's very efficient and well made. As someone else said in their review, it's very hot so be sure to use a heat protectant with it and run the straightener through your hair. I ordered this GHD straightener directly from Revain in December 2015 and it broke in April 2017. GHD has a 24 month warranty on this model so I was satisfied. I didn't realize how long it had been since I bought this until I tried to delete some of my Amazon reviews. I gave it to my wife for Christmas 4 years ago. She still uses it every day! She was upset that I spent so much money on a straightener, but looking back it was just an amazing investment! She said it works just as good as the day she got it!

Works great on my fine hair. Since I have to use a flat iron to get rid of frizz, this is a safe alternative to other brands that get very hot.
