Solid good quality on accessories

I bought this for my parents Dish Network Wiring, an old pair of ground blocks were rusty and a set burned a bit from the power switch. A very good quality. Also comes with mounting screws. Solid feel of heaviness and thick material on metal compared to what I replaced. I also bought an enclosure for my setup.

Works with power through coaxial cable

I can't comment on its grounding ability as it's difficult to test, but I can confirm one important feature: it passes electricity. I have a preamp connected to an antenna (Vinegard 200) with a USB power supply inside, with this ground block in between. The amplifier operates on power supplied through the coaxial cable and through this ground block.

Pros
 • Good product for the price
Cons
 • Minor issues

Heavy Duty Ground Block

Very high quality grounding block. Solid Connections, Ground Block and Hard Coated Screws, Ground Screws and Heavy Duty Block. This should take a long time. The protective caps on the connections can be easily and indestructibly removed from the F sockets by simply twisting them. They weren't necessary as the weather boots were already installed on the male ends of my cable.

Pros
 • High-quality features: Gold-plated inner conductor; UL listed; frequency range from 0 MHz to 3 GHz; UV resistant rubber seals; high frequency; Low insertion loss (<0.2dB from 2MHz to 3GHz)
Cons
 • Not for everyone

Looks like it will last a very long time, very good quality

My old grounding block has corroded over time due to the weather. This block is much better than the old one due to the rubber isolators built into the block. I think I could attach it to the wall of the house as it is and I would be fine. I decided to install it in a sealed plastic box for extra protection. I expect this to last a very long time.

Pros
 • Approved and works for DIRECTV, Satellite Dish, Comcast, Fios, AT&T (both DTV and U-Verse), Charter, Cox (and other CATV/CMTS), Aus - Antenna antenna, HD antenna and many more
Cons
 • Empty
