Nothing fancy but works well. I like plastic as I live near the ocean and it doesn't rust. This replaces the same mailbox I installed about 15 years ago. The old one was a bit warped and didn't close fully. But for the money you can't go wrong. Use stainless steel screws to avoid rust stains on the panel. The mounting holes on the new one are in the same place as the old one, so no drilling is required to use the existing screw holes.

If it's a small mailbox, I wonder what a normal one looks like! Looks very good. I didn't buy a stand for it as it has holes to attach directly to the house with screws. You'll need longer ones, though, because there are spacers on the back to make room for the lid to open and close. I assume this won't last a lifetime as I live in Minnesota and the cold winter weather outdoors makes the plastic/vinyl brittle over time. Basically satisfied.

After reading many product reviews I took the plunge and ordered these mailboxes. You are perfect. Pretty big and wide enough. We have two of these next to each other in our duplex. I like the unified look when they are identical. They're easy enough to install, just make sure you bring your own screws. We used drywall screws since this old house has multiple layers of siding. Easy to open and I love that the top stays open until you close it. So easy when sorting incoming mail.

The mailbox is large and made from very durable plastic. There is a template in the box for easy installation. However, the screws/hardware needed to attach the mailbox to your house or other structure are not included hence 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Perfect for a beach house like ours as it has no metal. That was 100% the reason for it. We won't be using ours as a mailbox, but we must have a mailbox. We use a PO Box. It doesn't stick to the wall which is the only downside for me. I highly recommend the Salt Air Beach House but probably wouldn't recommend it any other way. When you open or close it, you have to use force and it hugs your back.
