When AMD Ryzen 5000 was released, I purchased a motherboard with the latest bios. However, there were three different versions available, and only one of them worked properly. The programmers at Gigobyte are awesome. This one's for the overclockers Locating the point at which the processor's restrictions are lifted was extremely challenging. LLS- doesn't do the job (Using the default values of 120222 and Vcore yields 120222; increasing Vcore to TURBO yields 120226) The confusing vcore sos…

Pros
  • A Solid VRM Ports for Enjoyment Backlighting board plus. Q-flash
Cons
  • -BIOS

The only difference that I overpaid for is psi4 and glitches with reboot, it's definitely not BIOS settings, since I set the default ones, the problem is either in the hardware or in the motherboard itself, what exactly the problem is, I don't understand, since I can't catch the BIOS code without an additional display with code. The last upgrade was from gtx1080 to rx6600xt and from asrock b450m pro4 to this motherboard.

Pros
  • A large number of settings, fourteen different power phases, and a fashionable appearance
Cons
  • Any call to reboot or reboot will result in a black screen because the PRE-bios state will not leave the system.

Nice Board in Computer Components

This is an addition to the previous test. The payment finally worked. Turns out the problem I had was with the case. Seems to be working fine

Pros
  • Dual Super Fast NVMe PCIe 4.0/3. 0 x4 M.2 with thermal protection
Cons
  • Some issues

Nice design, terrible RGB system, very hot

Very nice design, but RGB fusion doesn't produce correct colors, motherboard reaches 80° under load. You can get a better motherboard for less.

Pros
  • Dual-channel unbuffered DDR4 Non-ECC, 4 DIMMs
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Good for B550 base board.

Bought for a customer on a budget. I tried the cheaper ASRock ATX board 3 times and every time it had a problem. Decided to spend a little extra to get this board and couldn't be happier that it's functional (which sounds silly). Considering I haven't had the board to hand since I gave the PC away, these are limited pros and cons if you're buying it for the same reason I am: Pros: * Good value for money. * Actual posts. * Neat BIOS. * Built-in I/O screen (I like it a lot). * Lots of USB ports…

Pros
  • Rear DisplayPort and HDMI support
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

USB PROBLEMS - Avoid all B550 boards!

I'm running a Ryzen 5600x and have been experiencing the infamous USB intermittent disconnection issue that has plagued other b550 users. It seems that regardless of the brand (gigabyte is the worst culprit) when running RAM above 3000MHz, there are times when all your USB devices are rapidly disconnecting and reconnecting. This comes with an updated BIOS that claims to have fixed these issues specifically for this motherboard (F11k). At the time of writing I have yet to try the F11n build but…

Pros
  • Incredibly fast 2.5GbE LAN with bandwidth management
Cons
  • Hard to say

Doesn't recognize NIC/Ethernet controller

Since building a PC, I've installed many, many gigabyte motherboards. Not just Gigabyte motherboards, but many others. This is the first time I've installed a fresh copy of Windows, installed network drivers and found that it couldn't see them. Luckily I had a spare network card from TP-Link. (PCIE) which I wanted to use for another project so I could connect to the network. After checking many forums and searching the internet for the issue, it seems to be a known issue with the board. Is this

Pros
  • Supports 3rd gen AMD Ryzen processors
Cons
  • Doesn't fit everything

Budget quality budget board

Let me say up front I have used this motherboard and described it as 'like new' from stock bought from Revain. Packaging Basically everything was there and the board looked good too, so I assembled it with my new AMD 3600, 16GB RAM and a Strix 3080. The system started and worked fine for 3-4 days and I was happy with it. most of time. Then I decided to replace the RAM with rgb from the same manufacturer (t-force) and with the same speed (3600MHz), both of which are on the qvl motherboard…

Pros
  • True 12+2 phase digital VRM solution with 50A DrMOS
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Great cell phone for Ryzen 7 5800X

Luckily now after the released BIOS update. So, as long as you have the latest and most up-to-date version from their website (F13 at the time of writing this article), you shouldn't have the problems listed previously. After the update I was able to reset to factory settings and the problems no longer occurred. line and fortunately found a solution. This was most likely caused by driver and bios updates over time, or I was just lucky I didn't run into it right away as this is a VERY common…

Pros
  • Super Rugged PCIe 4.0 x16 slot
Cons
  • Doubtful

Perfect fit for Ryzen 5 3600

Great board that comes ready to use. Windows 10 started up the first time, and then it was easy to just do a clean install and set everything up. The only downside is that there is no system fan header on the memory side of the board, so I had to find an extension cable to connect the front fans to the header next to the 8-pin CPU power connector. I was able to update the BIOS and update all drivers from the DVD from the App Center while using Windows. I bought 3200 DDR4 memory that defaulted…

Pros
  • Advanced cooling system with larger heatsinks
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
