Nice price, good quality.

I installed it as a workstation on the 7820X so that I could do continuous work with MSSQL and web development, in addition to testing graphic apps on DirectX12 on occasion.

Pros

  • - only one 8-pin connector is required to supply power to the CPU - no USB-C - low performance - weak connectors

Great workstation/server board. Gigabyte was my new choice! 10920X + VROC + OC = BEAST MODE!

I used ASUS until I got fed up with the poor support and the constant struggle to fix defective products. They had decent quality but when it came to the fans their support was useless. I have over 20 years of computer experience, I don't need your help, I just need you to replace your poop. Gigabyte boards were reliable and overclocked for several months. Buyer beware of motherboards

Won't let me into BIOS. After 3 hours of waiting, tech support was also able to get everything working (actually, it only got worse). He didn't take any information from me and just said I would forward you to support. I left a message on 4 different days, got added to their call back system 5 times and actually stayed on the line for 17 hours over 6 days. Finally got a representative to initiate a warranty RMA. 30 second call. I returned the form within 20 minutes. Five days later I'm still…

Stay away from this

$600 junk. The BIOS keeps freezing and denying you access to the DEL, F12 or END key functions. Even bios updates do not fix the problem.
