Then after the second blade if you have 3rd, 4th, 5th (for goodness sake!) or even 6th recoil reduction. All you get is razor burn and ingrown hairs for $4 a cartridge. WHAT A RIP! What are these companies thinking? In my humble opinion, Sensor is the pinnacle of Gillette. After that razor, they jumped on the shark. Anything after Sensor was overkill and a step backwards for a former premium company. Gillette has always been the best. However, now they care less about the consumer and moreโ€ฆ

One pack turned out to be fake

I do research when looking for these blades. I know that genuine Gillette blade replacement parts have numbers laser etched into the plastic edge on the back. The first thing I look for are those numbers. These refills I just received (6 packs of 5 blades each, made in Germany) had these numbers except for one box. I accidentally opened this box first and was going to return them all, but I decided to check out the rest of the boxes. One box that was not numbered had a plastic tray that wasโ€ฆ

3 times more here for the same price as a pack in store

I checked my last pack I bought at my local Walmart where 10 of them cost over $25 and they say that they were made in Brazil. I can only assume that they look almost the same but have a slightly wider comfort band that they are probably at least as good or pretty close to being made in Poland. Maybe not as good as the German ones, but I can only surmise that I've had a few over the past 20+ years that were probably made in all three places and I just didn't know of anything else. It felt like they had been used and repackaged.

I really regret buying 30 of these blades. My local grocer is out of dual blade razors or replacement blades. I find it difficult to get razors with three or more blades under my nose and into the crease to get all my stubble out. So I was happy to see them for sale at Revain. These blades bite and pull your beard literally from the first stroke. In addition, the grease strip does not smear at all. This leads me to suspect that they are either needed or Gillette is now offering an inferiorโ€ฆ

Don't think it's real!

I've been using these blades since Gillette made them. They have become my favorite blades. Unfortunately I think they stopped making them as I couldn't find them in stores anymore. So I ordered them before they ran out and just started using them. Firstly, based on my years of experience with these blades, I should have suspected something was wrong with the color of the packaging (not the right shades of blue) and the way they were packaged (not as tight as I've seen them) . Well while theyโ€ฆ

Cartridges and parts are always good

This was the best razor Gillette ever made. Unfortunately, this razor is no longer made in the USA. Blades are hard to find in the US. In Europe and around the world, this razor is still made with cartridges. . I came across this razor when I was in the army. Everyone got that bladed razor in boot camp. Speaking of the 1976 - I've tried every other Gillette razor - some had 3 blades, 4-5 blades, and none worked like the sensor. My razor dates from the 70s and is still in use today. Theโ€ฆ
