Non SAE metric. on Device accessories

Cheap, cheap, cheap. You get what you pay for. These are probably the worst quality tools I have ever bought. The set screws break off before you can tighten them on the drill press. Everything is metric. Usual cheap Chinese junk! Don't waste time, buy something from the USA!

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • So-so

VERY RATED Best in power and hand tools

Finally got around to using centers. They were sold as ASE but I believe they are metric equivalent. That means they're not exactly the right size. Some things won't matter much, but when I install the right size dowels, the medium size is big enough that it doesn't fit the hole properly. We live and learn.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Compatibility

Do Not Buy: Power Tool Parts & Accessories

First, let's talk about ease of use: the 1/2 dowel marker tip is so small it doesn't even leave a mark. are oversized. The bit fell off after a hole or two. Don't waste money. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because you can use 2 of the 4 sizes of dowel markers. Corks are not good at all. It's easier to use tape. This is bad.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great carpentry tool!

I am an intermediate level carpenter who has recently discovered the dowel craft. I love dominoes but can't afford this tool so I decided to use dowels instead. I fell in love with dowels. I found them in a youtube video and ordered them. Couldn't be happier. Easy to use and inexpensive yet durable. Drill pliers are way better than duct tape!

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Normal for the price - power and hand tools

These dowel attachment points are quite cheap. The diameters are quite small, for example the actual outside diameter of a 1/4" part is 0.237" giving a sloppy fit in a .250 hole which I want to pinpoint. All parts were about the same size. This was corrected by wrapping masking tape around the outside diameter of the pin. The central "tips" are not sharp at all, just rounded nubs that don't leave a good impression on the work piece, I was expecting a good tip. Well for the price I got what I…
