The seller's fitting description is incorrect, you will destroy your connector if you fit it as the seller described. See my attached picture. This took several hours. Trial and error to get it right. The pins mate with a socket/socket with a green insert, the pins mate with a plug/plug with an orange insert.

This is my first time using Deutsch DT connectors. Compared to other pin connectors, crimping pins and sockets was much more forgiving than other types of DIN connectors. I didn't use a crimping tool, which usually results in a less than perfect crimp, but I had no trouble getting the pins and plugs into the housing. Unlike my experience with PowerPole and DIN connectors, which was a headache when the crimp wasn't perfect. Rubber components ensure a sufficiently moisture-resistant connection.

I wish there were instructions included but the video helped. I use them in my car's engine bay to replace old and caked connections. So far after watching the video and pre-assembling with 14g and 16g wire they are amazing! And I have no doubt that they will prevent average or above average water exposure. This is very frustrating at first. I had to use a small needle tip and straighten some of the exposed terminal tabs to fit my crimping tools.
