I'm Confused. I had two plates side by side in the oven to warm up the leftovers. The oven was set at 200 degrees. One of the lids melted! And later that day I put the lid on another plate and the lid broke off. They should be microwaveable and suitable for temperatures over 400 degrees. What happened?

I purchased this kit in June and have recently been using the medium jar 4 months after purchase. I love these containers, but the lid didn't close on this one. The two short sides closed, but the long sides wouldn't close no matter how hard I tried. I think the lids should be tested immediately upon receipt.

These glass jars are just perfect. Bought my first batch to fit in my small travel fridge for long trips. Easy to clean. Tight closure. Continuous. Closing is a bit more difficult than the plastic versions, but it's well worth the extra effort. As a side note, I don't really understand the broken glass issues raised in some of the comments. I don't understand how this is possible without physical violence. Mine has been running on the freeway for over a year with no problems.

Crashed in the microwave when I wanted to warm it up, without a lid, on the 7th level the bowl is already warm. It wasn't cold, my bottom wasn't wet and initially warmed up without any problems. I know how to reheat in the microwave, so it's not about putting a cold bowl with a lid in the microwave. I ordered a total of 6 bowls with 6 lids. Very disappointed and past the return window. I am contacting Revane to see if anything can be done. less than four months!

These are the only food storage containers we use. I ordered this specifically for my husband as the lunches I pack for him at work come in the largest container and it broke. I ordered this set and surprised him and when he saw the glass lock inside he was excited like a kid at Christmas lol. These things do NOT leak, they are easy to clean, they are very thick, durable and well worth the investment. We have three complete sets and in eight years only one has broken.

These food containers are easy to test because they do exactly what they're supposed to do. They hold food and the lids stick to the jar very well.
