My first time buying a nail file that wasn't metal or one of the disposable ones. I really like it. It is thick and files my nails well. Its also super pretty and comes in a really nice case. Definitely happy I bought this.

I have ordered glass nail files in the past but this one is definitely higher quality. I love the case so that I can carry it in my purse with confidence. I also know that it is safe and clean in the case. The cloth that comes with it is also a very good addition to keep the file clean. The glass quality is good and does a very good job filing my nails. It is also thick enough and heavy enough not to break if pressure is applied while in use.

The case is super cheap and flimsy. I wouldn’t trust it to protect the file in my suitcase or even my purse. The file itself is pretty good. The tip did chip on the first use (I didn’t drop it, all I did was put it back in the case). Still usable just have to be a little more careful. Not the best but not the worst.

When I first got it, I was quite surprised with the packaging. It’s sleek, silver with a clean wipe that comes along with the nail file. Pretty to look at, but I hate its purpose. It feels that there’s little to no grit of any sort, and it somehow squeaks when filing nails. I’ve never had a file that makes a small screech when filing nails. It’s meh. (?)

I'm not sure what people expect when using this item or if it's supposed to feel like this, but when I opened both boxes and tried to file my nails, it literally made my teeth grind. It felt like I was scratching a chalk board, and the sound wasn't any better. I was expecting it to look like crystals, in the sense that the texture would be grainy and file my nails down. However, it was smooth all around with no other texture to actually correct your nail. I tried a few more times just to see if

I don't know much about files, but I wanted something very fine, and when I saw this glass one I dismissed it at first and tried something else which ended up too coarse. So what the heck, I bought it and wow . it's so silky fine and finishes the rough and squared off edges of nails to a fine powder, just amazing. Oh where has this been my entire life !
