Globe Electric 44465 Charlie Sconce Review

If the light wasn't so strong, I would shoot another star. I ordered 3 and had to look for hardware in all 3 by opening the box. The decorative ring on the globe is also simply there. It doesn't get stuck or stay in place. I fixed this by adding some silicone to keep it in place. Every time the wind blew you could hear it rumble outside.

I had to order this item twice. For the first time two different types of lights, one with a larger base and one slightly different. Bubble glass is the same. The second time I had to order a different one to match one or the other. But bubble glass is different so I had to keep the existing bubble glass and replace the base. The price has increased by 4.00 since my last purchase, so it's a little annoying that they don't test the product themselves before shipping.

My previous patio lights were the basic model of typical outdoor lights, they didn't work properly at all and I always had to tell people who came to our house that they did would do nicely the darkest in the area. They were installed with ease today and bulbs included! I love the way they look and they are a huge improvement over the ones they replaced! Pretty cool lamp. I wanted a porch light with the bulb facing down since my old one was facing up. Installation was easy, no problems. It comes with the cool bulb you see in the promotional photo but I didn't use it because the lighting is dim compared to other bulbs. I used my 15W Feit LED 100W bulb and it works great. The light itself isn't that bad, but there have been some very serious hardware issues. The color is actually black with painted bronze details. to give the impression of "oil rubbed bronze". I'm on my third Revain replacement for this oil bronze piece. First I ordered three lamps. Two of these are fully consistent with the description and work great. The third point is not the same. The base (the part that attaches to the wall) is 7 inches in diameter instead of the advertised 4.73 inches.
