To update. They removed the misleading photo. 5 views.

I would give it 5 stars but the photo shows the phone jack on the back of the phone. Both plugs are under the phone I received. The rest of the phone works well and looks very nice. I hope they verify their photos for authenticity. To update. They removed the misleading photo. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Rotary phone with last number redial
Cons
  • Nothing

Waste of money for phones and accessories

I had to send it back immediately. Looked nice - the buzzer went off - but that's it. Nothing happened when dialing - no clicks on the display of registered numbers. The barely understandable instructions that came with the box hilariously hinted that THEY EXPECTED IT DON'T WORK and invited you to come back and order "another perfect brother". The? Fraud. Do not do that.

Pros
  • Material: ABS and metal
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises

Feature exhibition

Definitely a retro phone. Manufactured in the UK. The sound quality is good. The phone is the same as the original Western Electric 500 phone. The base is cheaper. The rotary control does not use a long pulse signal, instead converting the rotating digit into a tactile tone once the digit is pressed against the silver stop. This takes a little practice. Other than that, it's a good demo that works like a phone.

Pros
  • 1960s style dial telephone, classic retro old-fashioned design, elegant workmanship, ideal for home and office use and decoration.
Cons
  • Contact seller

Works perfectly, but the instructions were difficult to understand.

Bought as a gift for my grandma, works surprisingly well. The sound quality is excellent and when someone calls it sounds like an old chime. The only drawback is the instructions. I never understood what they said, but I don't blame them. It's hard to describe how to use it for someone from the younger generation like me. Essentially, you have to strike a piece of metal for each number you want to register. Conclusion: This works great.

Pros
  • No external power supply, no batteries, works straight off the current phone line
Cons
  • So-so
