GloFish Blue and White LED Stick Light Designed for a Variety of Aquariums Review

I bought this light to replace the one that came with my 5 gallon GloFish corner tank. You can't do that with this tank. My original attachment was about 3 inches long and fit the aquarium. This lantern is twice as long and does not attach to this specific tank/lid. I ended up with a flashlight with suction cups that attached to the lid (and this flashlight was waterproof). The light seems to be of good quality. Just wanted others to be aware of the size difference.

I received two of these light bar kits for my 29 gallon Glo tetra aquarium. It has two settings: all blue or blue/white, NO just white. I'll start with the blue light, I'm sure that gives the fish a good glow, but I wouldn't turn it on all day every day. I really like that it has both a blue and white light mode, it definitely gives a different feel to the aquarium and the fish stand out more. I have an oddly shaped 20 gallon tank. They don't make them anymore and I have to mod everything with this tank. The hardest part was dealing with the lighting. The tank was originally a hooded tank, but it doesn't work anymore, so we took the hood off and had to take care of the headlights. I like this product, but not very much. The energy saving compared to our traditional light bulb is better because the power consumption allows us to keep this product on longer than the last one. Fluorescent light makes our fish look different than what we see in the store. We bought Red Molly from the store, brought it home, and now they're orange. This is a thin LED light strip that I installed over the glass roof in my aquarium. The world is fantastic! In white mode, the light is sharp and clear, not the yellow light commonly found in aquariums. When on in blue mode, it simulates darkness but is still bright enough to see your fish.
