The two screw holes for the mapping sensor bracket were unthreaded so had to be tapped. The spot under the holes for the tie rod bolts needed patching for a gap.

This is for Mercedes Benz and you can't beat the price. A few months have passed since the repair, the car is running. Great replacement part.

The build quality wasn't what I expected and I suggest an OEM Mercedes Benz gasket instead of the metal/rubber that came with the box to use.

Although there are around 20 bolts to replace this pump, it will fit exactly and meet your expectations. The two holes in the pump housing require forcing the screws in, but they go and work well.

The spare fits, it's pretty cheap so only time will tell how long it lasts. Easy to install, all necessary gaskets are included. It's important to note that the two holes holding the cables are unthreaded, so you'll have to tap on them to get the bracket in place.

Great value if you have a bit of skill and caution. The casting is not quite right and is rubbing against the back of the idler pulley/bearing. A few passes with a coarse file to remove some metal from the casting is enough to eliminate this problem. The rest of the pump works perfectly. Definitely better than the old one. There are no leaks yet.

Poor quality pump. There are no protrusions on the edges of the hose connectors, and the surface is not finished at all, very rough. , with no mileage on the pump no matter how tight it was. I had to remove and manually file the pump 2 times

I am so disappointed with this water pump, it lasted a little less than a year, what poor quality control and a poor quality product. The marketing claimed that it was of high quality and exceeded standard OEM specs. What a disappointment. As far as I know, should this item be covered by the manufacturer's warranty since it has been out of service for less than a year? The downtime to replace that useless GMB water pump is a major setback.
