Striped. Not the best anymore.

We've been using it to polish highly polished bronze sculptures for decades. Once was the best. Now it isn't.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Best I have found for brass

I use this on old solid brass door hardware. This is an excellent tarnish remover and a decent shine. No water immersion, washing, etc. Easy to use with a clean terry cloth or microfiber towel. I've tried cheaper products that require more work and poor results. I don't like the coppery look of my brass.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Small

In my opinion one of the best polishes on the market.

I think this is one of the best paints on the market. It is non-abrasive and does not require much effort. I've used it to clean a variety of items and it has restored them to their original condition without damaging the finish. Just as good as their other products.

Pros
  • LONG-LASTING SHINE. Use Goddard Brass and Copper Polish to bring out the precious metal's natural beauty. It leaves a long-lasting shine on your metals, so you don't have to reapply it often. Let your expensive antiques shine in the corners of your home.
Cons
  • Not sure

Light. For Use In Household Products

Simple. Use; amazing results in a very short time. We have many bronzes that need polishing and your polishing is easy to apply and great results last longer and look brighter longer! People are amazed at the great results I get on my antique barrels and airplane propellers. Will order again soon, thanks.

Pros
  • BRAND APPROVED - Goddard's expert formula is safe on all household metals including those that come into contact with food. It's proudly made in the USA and certified kosher.
Cons
  • Some errors

Doesn't work any better on brass than other modern products as far as I can tell. I have a spare 1/2 can of the old Brasso formula and am using that as a reference. While this can lighten unstained brass, it does not appear to remove significant dark tarnish whether elbows are soaked or smudged. I haven't tried copper yet. It smells very strongly of ammonia, like many EPA-approved brass cleaners that have petroleum distillates removed from their formulas.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE — This liquid cleaner is easy to use. Apply to the surface with a clean, soft cloth until all plaque is removed. Turn the fabric frequently to avoid reusing dirty parts. Let the paint dry and then wipe again. For more decorative objects, wash off the varnish with a damp sponge and leave to dry. Shake well before use.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
