Description of GOLDENROD 596 Canister Water Block Filter

Water-Block filter removes water from gasoline and diesel fuel; Water-absorbing polymers trap water, restricting fuel flow when it is time to replace the canister. Removes microscopic particles (10 microns) of rust, sand, dirt, scale, and lint. Zinc die-cast top cap with 14" NPT pipe fittings. Entire canister can be thrown away and replaced. Maximum recommended flow rate of 25 GPM; working pressure up to 50 psi.

Cleaner Performance with Car Filters

This high-performing filter greatly improves the quality of my car's fuel. The added layer of protection ensures that my engine remains free of moisture and sediment buildup. My car's overall performance has improved greatly since installing this product. However, it is often compared to other filters by customers before buying this one.

the filter was damaged on the filter

the packaging (not the shipping packaging but the actual product packaging) was torn. There is a large dent at the bottom of the filter. Very rough shape.

Nothing like the item pictured

I ordered this unit because the filter holder is a nice looking finished unit as pictured (square shaped, powder coated, tags etc). What I got was a cheap piece of raw zinc die-casting with lots of sharp edges, no markings etc. The filter cartridge I got was fine, but the mount was crap.
