The third attempt was successful. The first two vests were marked with two different sizes M and XL. We ordered size XL depending on the size of the dog and probably got a medium size both times. My Shi-poo Mojo has a shorter haircut than usual. I was afraid he would be too cold if I put him on the potty. This fleece sweatshirt has solved that problem. It weighs 12 pounds so after reading other sizing reviews I decided to order a size up. It fits perfectly and he looks adorable in it. It slips easily over his head and since it doesn't stretch, the plus size was the best choice.

Fleece keeps our pup warm. Before ordering, be sure to check your dog's measurements and also consider your dog's coat type. We measured our dog (Jack Russell mix) and the large size was right for him, although we don't consider him a large dog (he only weighs 17 pounds!). If your dog is between sizes, it's probably better to buy the larger size as fleece doesn't have as much fabric. Reasons why I LOVE this vest. Unlike most dog vests, this vest covers my dog's entire body, not just the first half as if the second half of the dog doesn't exist. What do other dog hair manufacturers think? That my dog wears trousers like humans, that he likes it when the other half of his body is 20 degrees colder than the first half?
